Alexis Gómez

Alexis Gómez is a Mexican multitalented commercial and music video director. His sensibility coming from an editorial and music background make him a highly visual creative with original and touching storytelling.
Started with Music Videos for the Spanish and Mexican market, his work had expanded the reach of its artists and clients on a local and global level. Bad Gyal’s video “Jacaranda” and Caloncho’s “Optimista” has reached over 18 million views worldwide. This last one chosen as one of the best music videos of latin America by Vice and LifeBoxSet magazine in 2017.
Alexis’s work represents a diverse background by utilizing new technologies and post- production techniques, they are able to execute projects in a way that remains unmatched.
After being represented by one of the most prestigious production companies in Mexico “Mango Films” and managed by “Altiplano” Alexis started to shoot more international work, directing and editing commercials for C&A, Budweiser, and Barcelona Music Festival "Bona Nit Barcelona” featuring grammy-nominated singer Mika.
Alexis is fast becoming one of the México’s brightest young directors. His approach moulds beautiful imagery with a raw honesty and impactful narrative. His work has featured and premiered in I-D Magazine, The Fader, Pitchfork, Red Bull and many others. He was named one of this year’s Mexican creative leaders by Cream Magazine.
