Amadeus continues to live in New Mexico, and exhibits his work with the Santa Fe Society of Artists while serving on it's board of directors and as president between 2011 and 2013.

He makes it his livelihood to adventure into the vast and varied high-desert to experience and photograph the dynamic landscapes and skyscapes of New Mexico the southwest United States. With a passion for natural beauty, conservation land ethics, and a continuous pursuit of technical precision in photography, Amadeus Leitner works to ever expand and enrich his practice of fine art photography.

Testimonial:
“Amadeus demonstrates superb technical abilities in many creative endeavors, from architecture to graphic design, but it is in his photography that the finely honed technical skill meshes with a keen aesthetic sensibility to produce art on a high level,” said Santa Fe author and photographer Don Usner. “He has a remarkable talent for finding subtle yet powerful subject matter (especially in landscapes), photographing it with an acute eye for composition, and rendering images in exquisite fine prints. Amadeus has developed his talents to a remarkable degree for his young age, and for him the future holds great promise. He is truly a rising, shining star in the New Mexico art scene.”
