My interest in sculpture began several years ago on a New England beach. I had begun sculpting a person in the sand and when I looked up, the sculpture had attracted a crowd. It was my first exploration with 3D art, after many years of working in the field of Graphic Arts. That pure enjoyment of sculpting the figure in the sand led me to taking classes at the DeCordova Museum School and with world class sculptors. Now in my own studio at Maynard ArtSpace, I continue to create new works, exhibit them, and I teach as well. I have never looked back.
