Meroeë Loge

Meroeë Loge, French-American Designer, specialized in hand-made silkscreen and lino-cut prints as big brush painting reunite in elegant ensembles.
Out of the dreams and poetry. As intensively living with modeled figures I dream often about sparkling shapes suggesting bodies. The dreams are neutral like the universe self without any emotions. Working on my ideas I want to capture this neutrality though to express the figures looking scintillate & sparkling as my feelings in the dreams are. Despite of the grave theme the intense light of gold color suggests the appeared appeal in cheerful togetherness as in clear elegance.
Liven up in hand-made SILKCREEN PRINTS of differential bipolar colors in / signal red / indigo blue / and rich pale gold. Figures originated in a dream time of the lost archaic cultures such as Aztec and Mayan & Japan. Narratives out of myths - from romantic fable to human violence, negotiating with the artist´s state of mind and converted into highbrow tableaux. MEROEË LOGE deeply concerned about the form rules sovereign through this certain attitude to her vivid coloration.
LINOCUTS in hand-printing reveal Loge‘s ensued bias to the sculptural shape. Nevertheless the two dimensional process triumphs in his lightness of a fine-drawn quality.
GRAND TABLEAUX hand made bobbin lace pictures in linen gold & silver and of gypsum carvings prints. Talking about the vivid history evolving out of the matured art designed in pencil drafts & colored version pictures. New friendship among art and handcraft will produce not an applied science but new kind of art, an hand made art work as a result & outcome of a matured art. So the first-rater has just been changing its medium in second-rater. The forms once drawn by a pencil turning in a new patent sort of an invented artistic picture, if one wants to a bass relievo graphics, yet out of twisted soft material like yarn & threads in the technique of lace.
The Big Brush Paintings render statues like alabaster crystalline stalactite bodies motionless & calm answering the clear coolness of the print works. My intention is to combine and unify passion & emotionlessness due to this own peculiar affection for some historical events no matter if true or in some way exaggerated and bewitched like charming tales of child dreams.
The Art To Be Beautiful – for ART IN EMBASSIES
Sept the 27th 2019 7 35 PM while walking my lab Matèl I saw a huge green-orange-white Fireball, suddenly appearing as to coming from nowhere, for 2 and half sec crossing the cloudless night sky from East to West. Besides Perseids, I have never saw in the low atmosphere such a bright & big meteorite with a long, long tail finally bursting into few pieces. This spectacle was undoubtedly glorious indeed. Quick, my lipstick!

My show goes on @LogeMeroee daily.
