Darren Baylor

Darren E. Baylor is an impressionist painter and photographer who lives and works in Atlanta, Ga. He is the recipient of the 2010 Alice and Arthur Baer Award at the 34th Beverly Arts Center Competition and Exhibition in Chicago, IL for his painting “After the Storm”. He has exhibited in group exhibitions in Los Angeles, Ca at Gallery 9 in New York, NY at Max Lang Gallery and most recently in San Francisco, Ca at Meridian Gallery in the “Peace Project” group exhibition. His publication titled “The Art of Glass” is currently on sale online and in bookstores nationwide.

He primarily works in acrylic on paper in his home studio. Darren takes inspiration from the things around him with a focus on creating images that use light and color to evoke a feeling. He is a painter and photographer. His photographic images are primarily fine art abstracts. Darren is currently working on a series of abstract digital photographs titled “The Art of Glass” .
