Bernadette Waystack

Bernadette Corbett Waystack is a painter, teacher and Benedictine oblate whose work explores the concept of painting as prayer. She works primarily in pastel and oils and also with textiles creating art quilts and fiber collage.

She holds a B.F.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.A. in painting from Savannah College of Art and Design.

She is a member of numerous arts organizations and her paintings have been exhibited in shows at Cape Cod Museum of Art, Provincetown Art Association and Museum, Massachusetts Transportation Center in Boston, Creative Arts Center and the Higgins Gallery at Cape Cod Community College.

Her work is found in private and corporate collections regionally as well as being used to support the work of non-profit groups such as Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod.
