I have painted all of my life but have not pursued a living from fine art. I began doing illustration for commercial art & later in life went on to teach. I have exhibited in FL at galleries & shows & continued to exhibit in various other states. The work I am submitting reflects a need to express Social Commentary Art that has roots in the 60's when I worked some as a folk singer. The political movements at that time stirred a sense of hope that social change could be empowered through the arts. I have maintained that belief & continue to draw, paint & create multimedia work that reflects such ideology.
