Lauren Braun is an artist who creates paintings, drawings and collages. Pittsburgh International Airport transformed one of her paintings into a large-scale wall mural on temporary display in the airside terminal through Spring 2019. She was selected to participate as an Emerging Artist in the 2018 Three Rivers Arts Festival. Lauren was an artist-in-residence at the Vermont Studio Center, participated in Idea Furnace at the Pittsburgh Glass Center and received a Tending Space Fellowship from the Hemera Foundation. Her work is in the collection of the Philadelphia Convention Center and PNC Bank. She received her MFA from the Tufts School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and a BFA cum laude in Art Photography from Syracuse University. A native of Buffalo, NY, Lauren lives in Pittsburgh, PA.
