Sigrid Lium

Artist Sigrid Lium was born and raised in Vermont. At age eighteen she backpacked around Europe where she studied art in museums, met people of various cultures, and worked as an au-pair in Norway. This led to her studying at the Einar Granum School of Art in Oslo, Norway. She returned to the U.S.A. and studied figure sculpture and painting at The Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in Old Lyme, Connecticut.

Sigrid's work includes such topics as the human condition, beauty and violence, landscapes, and the mundane.
