Claire Capron

Claire is a New Jersey born artist who began drawing and painting early in life, inspired by her artist father.
Though mostly self-taught through practice and observation, she received formal education in archival oil techniques at SMFA Boston. Claire has exhibited throughout the Northeast where she received commissions from a large transportation company for her work. She now resides in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, which has greatly inspired her recent work. "The natural world holds an endless source of wonder, drama and beauty for me. I feel a deep spiritual connection to my subjects, and I attempt to capture these feelings in my work"
