Mark Lubich

Mark Lubich was born in Port Hueneme, California in 1956. He graduated from West Seattle High School in 1975 and the University of Washington, with a BA in History, in 1978. He was commissioned a 2LT in the US Army in 1982 and, as a Captain, became medically disabled in 1988. He is a self taught artist who started working with mixed media in 1992. He began experimenting with glass in 1999. Currently, he’s incorporating fused glass with mixed media collage. He also continues to do sculptural glass pieces.
