Daniella Rubinovitz

Daniella Rubinovitz was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Currently, she maintains her studio at Atelier Molenpad, an historical, spacious studio space in the heart of Amsterdam. Here she produces art installations. Her sculptures are generally designed for public interaction. Her 2D artwork vary between figurative and abstract. She experiments with combining materials suited to the environment of the installation. This ranges from steel to wood to stone to bronze to ceramic to glass to paints. She can be contacted at daniella@daniellarubinovitz.com and by phone at +31 6 10915544.

Daniella creates art that touch upon metaphors, push close to boundaries, connect people and stimulate interaction. She believes in challenging perspectives and inspiring the viewer. She practices this herself and she support other’s to find their own way. She translates this in her work as combining the arts as a medium for expression. She exposes raw material in completed projects. She creates timeless pieces that connect to our mental, emotional and physical bodies. Her work primarily uplifts, inspires and gives a playful twist of pleasure. She thrives on creating experiences that encourage mental, emotional and physical participation.
