Hello. I am a mixed media artist. My work is often inspired by languages, alphabets and symbols. This interest has led me to study the history of writing and to include messages of hope embedded in ice and floating in water as part of my current work about climate change. This focus on melting planetary ice began with the documentary Chasing Ice by James Balog; watching simultaneous beauty and devastation led me to work with this issue since 2014. I have been fortunate to show my work in the U.S, Germany, Russia, China, England and the Middle East. I also facilitate concrete sculpture and mural projects throughout the world. I live in New York City.
