Kenneth has been a professor (drawing and painting) for 11 years at the University of Northern Iowa, and enjoys the challenge of balancing a creative career with the daunting task of mentoring younger generations of artists. He has exhibited work internationally in Berlin and Hamburg, Germany and nationally in Los Angeles (The Other Art Fair) and New York City (Parallax and ArtExpo fairs), with additional solo exhibitions in a range of venues, including Amarillo, TX, Edinboro, PA, and Hastings, NE. Kenneth has an MFA (2007) from Miami University and a BFA (2004) from Columbus College of Art and Design.
Kenneth also served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 10 years, where he had a variety of roles including Weapons Officer on a 210’ cutter to Project Engineer at a Civil Engineering Unit. Kenneth enjoys storm chasing and playing electric guitar when he is not in the painting studio.
