Hunter Brown

With emphasis on movement, elegance, space activation and balance, Hunter Brown’s sculptures explore the potential for expressive variety in stainless steel. His sinuous designs with organic volumes gracefully move through space, with gravity defying joineries, and beautiful interaction between the adjacent forms. Brown’s volumetric abstractions and combinations of geometric forms demonstrate his artistic inheritance from modern masters, such as, Hans Van De Bovenkamp, Rodney Carrol, and Alexander Calder.

Brown received his higher education from the University of Central Arkansas where he acquired a Bachelor in Art in 2012. During his time at the University of Central Arkansas his emphasis transitioned from graphic design to sculpture. Brown found great satisfaction in bringing his designs into space and working with his hands after taking the first of four sculpture courses.

Following graduating, Brown built a design and sculpture studio, where he would continue to explore with sculptural forms. Today Brown is the owner and operator of Innovative Sculpture Design Studio where he creates fine art full time. In 6 years of creating, his works can now be found in private, commercial, and public art collections in over 25 states and 3 countries. Brown continues to push outside the box by working with collectors and curators to create innovative design solutions that make a statement while fitting the needs of the space.
