Julie Lamons

Julie Ann Crawford Lamons was born in Newport,Arkansas. USA. Her first experience of drawing was at a church meeting where
she sketched one of the deacons. She enjoys working with acrylic and oil and has a small studio. You will see a wide variety in her gallery from
inspirational to landscape and still life. Julie was a member of the 2006 gallery walk committee of Heber Springs, Arkansas
which worked to promote the arts in Heber Springs. She graduated from a two-year art program with Penn Foster Schools, and is now participating
in workshops and working with local artist. She was honored to be a part of the Artist exhibiting her painting "Hay-bales" in the Clinton Presidential Library in 2007
with 'Art Across Arkansas', sponsored by the Thea Foundation and The Clinton Foundation. In 2010 she donated her artwork to benefit
Gallery Ten, WKNO Art Auction of Memphis for PBS and the White County single Parent Scholarship Fund.
Today she continues to paint while exploring new techniques and the joy of creating and continues to exhibits her work locally
at art shows and donates to various organizations.
