Born and raised in Nebraska. As adult, ranched in western Nebraska, eastern Colorado for 15 years. Moved to New Mexico and received BAFA from the University of New Mexico in Studio Art/Native American Art History in 1988. In 1990 relocated to the Colville Confederated Tribes reservation in north central Washington state.
Began drawing when I was 18 months old and never quit. I've been showing as a professional artist since 1980. My primary medium is watercolor, but I explore many other media as well. My preferred subject matter is the life that surrounds me on the reservation. I consider this my life's work.
I've received numerous local and regional awards, but the one I am most proud of right now is Rockwall Cellars uses my paintings for their Stampede Red wine (it's really good wine!)
