Jeannette Pomeroy Parssi

Jeannette Pomeroy Parssi is a product of the Midwest, where her love of art was nurtured by a family whose passion for art, music and theater was instilled at a young age. Jeannette discovered her talent for painting after the birth of her first
child in 1994 and it wasn’t long before her natural gift surfaced and she became a prolific artist. Her bold color palette and distinctive style tell the story of an individual who is sure of her place in the world. Her work can be found in private collections and galleries around the world.

In an effort to share her gift with the world, in November of 2004 Jeannette founded ArtStart, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide educational opportunities in the arts to at-risk youth in underserved areas of Palm Beach County. Her talent is matched only be her generosity, as evidenced by her frequent donations of time and talent to charity organizations such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, American Lung Association and Hospice of
Palm Beach County.
