James Redd

James J. Redd, self-taught figurative Christian artist. Fusing a multitude of mediums: acrylic, gauche, color pencil and pen&ink to execute an eclectic color palette. I draw inspiration from patterns, textiles and the human form. Although being an artist often means a great source of inspiration dwells in visual, but not limited to drawing strength from my main influence - something that's not tangible but eternal. The Holy Bible and its author the Lord Jesus Christ. Mannerism my key signature style derived from the high renaissance around 1520 that exagerates the form designed to provoke movement and emotion.
