Karen Jean Larson is an artist from Pennsylvania. She studied at the University of Pittsburgh, Carlow University and Lucca,Italy. She is an artist whose interests are in expressions of the natural world as well as social, environmental concerns. Karen is a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists and a former educator at St. Edmund's Academy in Pittsburgh and at the Carnegie Museum of Art. She has exhibited locally and has had works exhibited or commissioned from Canada to California,Italy and Japan. She paints in acrylics, oils, watercolor and printmaking with monoprint materials as well as collage.
