Katharina Marchant has a BA in Painting from University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a MFA in Photography from Utah State University. Katharina was raised an Air Force Brat. This childhood influences much of her work. She works with 19th century photographic processes and painting to create mixed media work about military brats of all cultures. Her most recent work has been about motherhood and identity.
