LaQuincey Reed

LaQuincey is a figurative sculptor who lives and works in Oklahoma. Several institutions in
Oklahoma have commissioned him for projects including: a life-size bronze of past president
James R. Scales for Oklahoma Baptist University; a portrait of Eugene Adkins for the University of
Oklahoma’s Fred Jones Jr Museum of Art; a bust of Native American chief Black Kettle for
Southwestern Oklahoma State University; a bust of Grover Cleveland for the Cleveland County
Courthouse in Norman, Oklahoma. He was awarded the PaseoFEAST grant and was selected to
the 84th National Sculpture Society Awards Exhibition.
