Lynn Richardson received her MFA from the University of Texas at Austin

Lynn Richardson has presented her sculpture in numerous exhibitions throughout Canada, the United States and Asia. Solo exhibitions include Remapping the Northwest Passage at CSAW in Houston TX and Red State at the Michael Gibson Gallery in London, ON. The work titled Alaska shuffle and Business as Usual, were exhibited at the Toronto International Art Fair, Barbara Walters Gallery in New York, Harcourt House in Edmonton, Canada. One major body of work titled Inter-Glacial Free Trade Agency has been exhibited at the Sheppard Art Gallery at the University of Nevada, Art Gallery of Calgary, Buffalo Arts Center, NY and at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. Recent museum exhibitions include the Flag Day at the Islip Museum and The New England Biennial at The Brattleboro Museum and The Physicality of Color at the University of New Hampshire Museum of Art.

Richardson has received grants from both the Winnipeg and Manitoba Arts Councils and the Canada Council for the Arts. She was awarded the prestigious Joan Mitchell Foundation MFA Grant, and was included in an exhibition at the Cue Art Foundation in New York. She has been awarded artist residencies at Red Gate Gallery in Beijing China, Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, and at Galleri Se Konst in Sweden.
