Born 1977 in Haverhill, MA. Born without a left arm and a shortened right arm with two fingers partially fused together. Several successful experimental surgeries to allow greater mobility conducted under supervision of surgeons at the Hand Center at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA. Attended public school K-8. Graduated from Governors Academy (then Governor Dummer Academy), Byfield, MA with several awards in Fine Arts. Graduated BFA SUNY Purchase 2000 with a concentration in painting and printmaking. Studied with Antonio Frasconi, Michael Torlen, Murray Zimiles, Cassandra Hooper, Bob Berlind, Phil Listengard. Graduated with Masters of Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2005. Full-time studio art teacher in a public high school in Fairfield County, CT from 2005 to present. Program of studies include Foundation, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking and Art History. Reside and maintain a private studio in New Haven, CT. Gallery representation: Fred Giampietro Gallery in New Haven. Current work is predominantly oil paintings on panel and canvas depicting realist/hyperrealist landscapes of industrial flux, construction and decay. The genesis of my work is rooted in capturing and documenting the United States' cultural, political and technological devotion to the progression and promotion of the mechanisms behind capitalism and the global economy.
