Melanie Kozol

Melanie Kozol received her BA from Connecticut College and her MFA from the School of Visual Arts, NY. She was awarded an NEA Visual Artist Fellowship in painting, a residency at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and a Skowhegan scholarship for drawing at the New York Studio School. In addition to teaching painting and drawing at the School of the Arts, 92nd ST Y, Melanie is an adjunct professor at Pratt Institute. Kozol's work has been widely exhibited including Project Room 88, Kathryn Markel Fine Arts, Weber Fine Art, Alexander Gallery, DFN and Bussaco. Her paintings are in numerous collections including the Comptroller of the Currency, the Pfizer Corporation, Deutsche Bank, Bellagio Hotel and Triomphe at the Iroquois Hotel. Melanie lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
