In a prior life I was a world-famous researcher and textbook author in computer engineering. But a couple of years ago I discovered my inner artist hiding in the scientist shell and became an award-winning photographer.

My awards include First place in the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP – NJ) 2009 Fine Art Photography Competition, Silver Award in the Worldwide Photography Gala Awards "Portrait & People" 2010 juried competition, and having one photo selected as Kodak Picture of the Day and projected in Times Square.

I was selected by Jersey Arts as the NJ artist for the month for January 2011. Jersey Arts is a co-sponsored project of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and ArtPride New Jersey Foundation
