Małgorzata Gajek

Małgorzata Gajek is an engineer by education and an artist by passion. Her artistic activity includes participation in numerous open-air events, exhibitions and nationwide competitions.

She draws inspiration for his work mainly from nature and the processes of change occurring in it. Her works are an attempt to convey the impression of space, and the main topic of her painting explorations are landscapes. Through her paintings, the artist tries to capture the everyday beauty of the moment, exploring various aspects of the world around her.

As a graduate of the Military University of Technology, she combines engineering knowledge with passion for art in her work, creating a unique view of the surrounding reality,
in which the motif of the horizon as a vast horizontal line repeatedly returns.

In this series of paintings "Rapeseed Fields", Małgorzata Gajek not only captures the beauty of nature, but also uses her engineering skills to build a metaphorical landscape structure. The intense, navy blue sky, which intertwines with the vibrating plane of flowers, becomes a symbol of the clash of the raw, technical world with the delicacy and diversity of nature. The horizon line, precisely depicted in these works, serves as a symbolic point of contact between two different worlds. This is a place where technical precision meets artistic expression, and the rapeseed field becomes a canvas on which a unique dialogue between form and color takes place.

When painting landscapes, she not only immortalizes the everyday harmony of moments, but also constructs his images in a thoughtful way, as if building the structure of the landscape. This combination of technical, rigorous experience with the art of painting adds an additional dimension to her works, where precision meets artistic expression. A special manifestation of this combination is a series of paintings depicting rapeseed fields, in which an intense, firm, navy blue sky intertwines with a vibrant plane of flowers full of colors through a precise horizon line.
