Dorothy Raymond

Dorothy Raymond uses fabrics and thread to create abstract studies of color and shape. There’s a story in the assemblage of fabric that she expresses in the cutting, assembly and stitching.
Any fabric or material that can be sewn might appear in her art quilts. She uses collage and stitches details with thread.
Dorothy’s art has been juried into textile art shows such as Visions, Sacred Threads and Art Quilt Elements, as well as fine art shows, and are in private collections throughout the United States. She is a member of Studio Art Quilt Associates.
