Monique Monte

Monique Monte is an internationally published artist. Her passion is “building”, therefore she enjoys creating sculptures and making extraordinary art pieces known as “wearable art”. All of her work is original and handmade using mostly household items (such as shower curtains, Q-tips, Styrofoam, toothpicks, place mats etc). Her exhibits are showcased in museums and hotels throughout Washington, DC.

Each of her works belongs to a theme and includes figure and abstract art. She uses a variety of art forms including mixed media, acrylic, oil paints and sculptures.
