Monica Goldsmith is a Colorado-based painter. Her paintings are of imagined, mostly unfurnished residential interiors and the quiet moments of these spaces. Applied arts, the 1970s Pattern and Decoration movement, and hard-edge techniques inform her work. She holds an MFA from Lesley University College of Art and Design in Cambridge, Massachusetts and a BA from Loyola University in Chicago.
