Oliver Clark

Oliver T. Clark is a sculptor from Columbia, Missouri who lives and works in Kansas City, Missouri. In 2012, Clark began his woodworking training under master cabinetmaker Dave Polivka. After graduating with a B.F.A in Sculpture and Art History from the Kansas City Art Institute, he expanded into fabrication and antique restoration. In 2013 Oliver exhibited a public sculpture and the Overland Park Arboretum. In 2017, Oliver’s solo exhibition Natural Tension opened at the Todd Weiner Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri. In 2018, Oliver exhibited at Art Prize 10 in Grand Rapids, MI. Oliver’s work is included in the private collections of Long and Robinson Law Firm in Kansas City and Room 108 in St. Joseph, MO. Recently, Clark won an ArtsKC Inspiration Grant to travel to England to study steam bending under Charlie Whinney. Through the TWG Corporate Art Program, Clark’s work currently exhibits at the offices of True North, SkillPath and Truss in Kansas City, MO.
