Peter Barnett

Peter Barnett has a BFA in painting from the School of Visual Art. He also has an MA in Art Education from CUNY, Brooklyn College. Greenwich House Pottery is where he gained most of his experience in clay although he has been a ceramic artist for close to 30 years. Peter has had exhibitions in New York, Moscow, Berlin, Washington D.C., Cape Town and Johannesburg. He has been an Artist in Residence at the DeYoung Museum, San Francisco and Museum of Art and Design, New York. Peter’s endeavors have been written about and published in various countries. Currently Peter is the ceramics instructor at Marymount Manhattan College. His art can be found in private collections worldwide. Visit peterbarnett.com
