I am a "found object", mixed media, artist who was born to a petroleum geophysicist, in Paris. We traveled and lived in France, Holland Switzerland and spend 8 formative years in Tripoli, Libya where I experienced the Libyan REVOLUTION and the 1967 WAR. I have been enamored with Arabic calligraphy, geometry and architecture. This initially led me into a career in cardiac nursing. The Hearts waveforms are very similar to the organic nature of Arabic calligraphy.I am a graduate of the PENNSYLVANIA ACADEMY OF THE FINE ARTS and spent some time in Paris at the ECOLE NATIONALE SUPERIEURE DES BEAUX ARTS.
