Paola A. Jimenez M. is a Venezuelan mixed-media artist who lives in Orlando, Florida. She is a sculptor inspired by the beauty in traditions that celebrate the arts in her home country Venezuela. Using her art, she aims to express the importance of traditions through the use of bright colors, organic shapes, and detail in her mixed media work with acrylic paint, ink, clay, and wood. She has participated in exhibitions including the 1rst Thursdays events at the Orlando Museum of Art (2018-2019), the Young Artists Gallery at CityArts (2021-2022), received a 3rd place award at the New York International Fine Arts Competition in the Drawing category, and has an upcoming group art exhibition at The Holy Art Gallery in London (March 2024). Jimenez will graduate with a BFA in Studio Art in Fall 2023 from the University of Central Florida.
