Deborah Puretz Grove

My work was selected for the AIE program decades ago, for Qatar and for Ottawa, Canada. Today, my prints are in 30 museum collections including the Achenbach Prints at Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and the Grunevald collection at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles.

Most of my works catalogue the ubiquitous evolution of silicon wafers in every aspect of our lives, from paper documents to e-docs, from early photography to digital photography, from piano sheet music to e-music. Using semiconductor prototypes from the 1990s as my print plates, I have created a body of work that speaks to curators who are themselves enriching their collections visually demonstrating the Silicon Valley soft revolution on our arts and sciences.
