Robin Dawkins

Artist Statement:

I like to gather visual information from nature and surrounding man-made structures of the urban landscape. Later in my studio I tap into my memory and imagination seeking to transcend what I have seen, and what I have experienced through the elements of abstraction. Color, line, shapes, form, movement and textures are all very exciting to me! My paintings explore vibrant color combinations with the goal of transforming my observations into simplified lively tapestries!
