A thirteenth generation Cape Cod Massachusetts native, Sarah Hinckley draws inspiration from the coastal beaches, marshes and open sky. Using layers of nuanced color, brushstrokes, bleeds and incidental marks she creates minimalist abstract paintings in oil and watercolor referencing the surrounding landscape. Sarah received an MFA from Columbia University in New York, and a BFA from Tufts University and School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston in Massachusetts. She has exhibited in the United States and abroad and her paintings are in numerous corporate and private collections.
