James Hilleary

Hilleary was a Washington Color School artist, working alongside Gene Davis, Tom Downing, Howard Mehring, and other Washington color artists. He has been referred to as a "master of color" and his entire oeuvre has focused on exploring color through the use of lines.

Hilleary's work consistently received strong critical reviews and is held in major museums worldwide.
