Steven Falk

Steven Falk is a painter from California. His work has been featured in the 2008 US Department of State calendar, at the Uruguay embassy, and in several New York and Bay Area galleries. The winner of local, national, and international juried competitions, Falk’s work is displayed in private collections in the East Bay, San Francisco, Napa Valley, Sacramento, Marin County, Southern California, Maui, Denver, and Austin.

Falk's work is distinctly American, with influences including Edward Hopper, John McLaughlin, Andy Warhol, Ed Ruscha, Robert Bechtel, Bryce Marden, and Jenny Holzer.

Steven Falk earned a Bachelor’s degree at Reed College and a Master’s Degree at Harvard University. He lives in Lafayette, California.
