Sajjad Ahmed

Sajjad Ahmed is a contemporary artist with internationally recognized practice that explores constructed realism. He employs visual deconstruction, melting classical forms and fracturing space to blur the lines between the dreamlike and the familiar. Through his art, he conjures profound perceptive spaces infused with themes of memory, solitude, and the fragile nature of human connection, evoking a sense of introspection and emotional fluidity in the viewer.

With exhibitions worldwide, his works are in permanent collections of Museo Capitolare di Atri Italy, Imago Mundi Collection Italy, Art in Embassies State Department USA, Slought Foundation USA, Devi Art foundation India and Moscow Museum of Modern Art Russia. His art has been featured in prestigious publications like Le Monde Diplomatique France, Haverford USA, GQ India and a monographic book on his practice.

Ahmed is an awardee and alumni of South Asia Foundation, as well as finalist for Sovereign Asian Art Prize.
