I am originally from Brazil and I have been living in Key West, Florida, since 1989.
Due to my fascination with tools and woodworking, besides abstract paintings and landscapes I also create assemblages and collages using old and/or odd objects and remains of metal and wooden parts, having in mind a preservation of memories from the past.
My art pieces reconfiguration and refining process many times end up showing a lot of changes from the original concept. This constant evolution is evidence of my desire to always test, stretch and expand my abilities. To me, personal and professional life challenges have always been tools for self-improvement and my search is constant and endless.
